The meaning of this tour is to get to know about rural handicrafts, about incredible skills in textiles, ancient forts and temples.
You will have the chance to learn about:
- Mud resist Indigo block printingin in a workshop in Bagru
- Tie and dye - chundri workshop in Udaipur
- Block printing workshop in Pushkar or Jaipur
- See behind the scene how women`s work on handloom in Kota
- and in between all this places there are so many incredible forts and temples where
you can see the traditional spirit of Indian handicrafts.

Sunday Delhi - Agra (4 hours driving time)
We will start our journey in the morning and will arrive at noon in Agra.
First stop we will make at Tomb of I`timad-ud-Daulah, sometimes called as the „Baby Taj“ and after we will visit the Agra Fort.

Monday Agra - Jaipur ( 5 hours driving time)
Early morning visit to the famous incredible Taj Mahal for sunrise, a world UNESCO herritage site. On the way to Jaipur we have the chance to visit Fatehpur Sikri which is another
world herritage site of UNESCO
Arrive at Jaipur late afternoon. Have a walk in the“ Pink City“ and
enjoy a free evening.
Tuesday Jaipur
Today we will go to Bagru, a city a few kilometers outside Jaipur, to learn about mud resist Indigo block printing. Print your own scarf and see behind the scene of this beautiful skill. In the late afternoon /evening we suggest you to see a movie in the
famous Rajmandir Cinema. You will never forget the way how Indians watch movies, babys are crying, phones are ringing and so on...
Wednesday
In the morning we visit Amer Fort in Jaipur .
The famous Anokhi Museum of Hand Block Printing is our next visit.
In the afternoon we will have a tour around Jaipur with visiting Hawa Mahal and to see more of the Pink City.
Thursday Jaipur - Bundi (7 hours driving time)
A long drive will bring us to Bundi. Bundi is a special city. It din`t became a loud city like other
Indian metropolis. It`s easy to walk around with no hassle. It`s a picturesque old town und you feel like 100 years back. See the rural Bundi Fort in the evening and enjoy dinner in
our garden restaurant at our hotel close to small lake.
Friday Bundi - Kota
In Kota, a city southeast of Bundi we will visit local women`s who are working on handloom producing Indian saris. Those people, away from normal tourist attractions are very friendly and happy to show us there beautiful art of weaving. We will get a very special and private insight in there work.
Back in Bundi in the evening, we will have again time to enjoy the charm of this city.
Saturday Bundi - Udaipur ( 6 - 7 hours driving time )
We start in the morning to Jodhpur and we will arrive late afternoon.

Sunday Udaipur
In the morning we will visit City Palace in Udaipur. It`s the biggest palace complex in Rajasthan. Later on we can have a walk in the alleyways around City Palace . In the afternoon we have a workshop
in a local place about tie and dye fabrics - chundri . The technique involves dyeing a fabric which is tied tightly with a thread at several points,thus producing a variety of patterns.
For sunset we will visit Monsoon Palace.
Monday Udaipur - Jodhpur (6 hours driving time )
On the way to Jodhpur - the blue city - we will visit the Jain temple of Ranankpur.
Ranakpur and villages around are also famous for there handwoven carpets - dhurries.
We will be all day on the road and arrive in the evening in Jodhpur.
The first night in Jodhpur we will stay in a beautiful Haveli which is about 20 km awy from Jodhpur. Free evening
Tuesday Jodhpur
In the morning we will visit the Mehrangarh Fort. It`s one of the most magnificant forts in India and we have a great view over the blue city. After the fort you can discover by walk the blue city.
In the evening we can have dinner toghter in the famous restaurant On The Rock.
Wednesday Jodhpur - Pushkar ( 4 hours driving time )
Today we will go to our final destination Pushkar.
The holy lake of Pushkar is surrounded by numerous ghats and temples.
The lake was formed when Lord Brahma dropped a lotus flower here and it`s an important pilgrim for Hindu people. It has world`s only temple of Lord Brahma ( God of creation )
First evening walk around in town and let`s meet for dinner at the lake restaurant.
Thursday Pushkar
In the morning we can have a walk up to the hill for sunrise, a lovely great experience with a breathtaking view over Pushkar and the surrounding landscape. Little bit outside of Pushkar,
in a family run company, we will have our last block print workshop. It`s one of the place where we print our own block print fabrics. In the evening we will have a bye bye dinner with local gypsy music.
Friday Pushkar - New Delhi ( 7-8 hours driving time ) We will start early in the morning to drive back to New Delhi. Arrival time about 17.00
We will drop you to your hotel for your last night ( if you booked aditional nights in New Delhi) or directly to the airport.
End of out service Friday evening 13. October
